How to Make Cooked Playdough

Apple Cinnamon Playdough Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Salt
2 Tablespoons Cream of Tartar
1heaping Tablespoon Cinnamon
1 heaping Tablespoon Apple Pie Spice
2 Tablespoons oil (we use coconut oil – you can use any cooking oil)
1 1/3 Cup Boiling Water

*optional: Cinnamon essential oils

Directions:

  1. Add all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Slowly stir in 1 1/3 cups boiling water
  3. Mix, and Knead with your hands until it forms a ball.
  4. Let your dough sit for 10 minutes to cool and then it’s ready for play.
  5. optional: add a drop of your essential oil to the playdough ball when you’re kneading the dough.

Thisplaydough can be stored in an airtight container.

If you love essential oils like we do add2-4 drops of cinnamon essential oil. The spicy scent from thecinnamon essential oils gives a warm, uplifting feeling that we love.
